After doing a lot of research to purchase my first tux—something I could use for both my engagement shoot and wedding—I kept coming back to The Gentleman’s Tux Club. Their stylish selection and outstanding reviews really stood out.

Later that same day, I decided to stop by and had the absolute pleasure of meeting John. From the moment we met, he took a genuine interest—not just in what kind of tux I was looking for, but also in understanding the bigger picture: our venue, the vibe of the day, and how to best complement the vintage glam theme my fiancée envisioned for our wedding at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar.

John’s experience and eye for detail led me straight to the perfect tux. What really stood out, though, was how personal and effortless he made the whole process. Within minutes, I felt like I’d known him for years. He and his team took a truly consultative approach, ensuring the tux was tailored exactly to my vision—and they delivered flawlessly.

For the quality, experience, and price, you won’t find a better value than The Gentleman’s Tux Club. I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Great tux and suit rental services with quality customer service. I needed a suit last minute and this was the only store I could find in San Diego that can offer and prepare a tux or suit for rent in a day. Since most of their tux and suits are tailor made by John, the fitting and quality of the material is much better than the brand name stores. I actually ended up buying a suit from them and will definitely come back to keep my wardrobe fresh. Thank you John and Vanessa, much appreciated.

10/10 have been using this place for years and everytime they come through. I always pop in with no notice and they get me fitted, looking great and out the door with my rental a few minutes later. Outstanding service and great people to work with. They have a huge in house inventory with everything you could possibly imagine. They always go the extra mile to make sure all the little details are flawless and truly care about my experience with the items.

By far the easiest and most accommodating suit rental business I’ve ever been to. I needed a tux last minute for my sisters wedding. Got measured and walked out with a tux the same day. Talked to Jon on the phone and he assured me I would have no issue getting something in a short period of time. Vanessa got me measured and got a tux in my hands in 10 minutes. She is very good at what she does. I told her what my vision was for what I wanted to wear and she executed it perfectly. Looked sharp as a tack and was beyond happy with how everything fit. I’ve been to many weddings and this one was by far my best dressed. Thank you Jon and Vanessa.

This place is fantastic! They were will and happy to accommodate me even with short notice. I had a Black Tie wedding to attend in LA and only a week to find and get fitted for Tux. They had me in on Sunday and it was ready four Friday. Amazing job and John is friendly and extremely helpful and knowledgeable! Thanks for making this 50yr old look amazing!
